Name: Before Closing Time
Reason: it was shot just when it began to close for the night, half closed-half opened it made a sense of warmth, at least to me :\

Those are some absolutely massive beads of water... The clarity and focus of this image is perfect, almost everything is in focus and I like that--it helps this photograph.

I also missed this the first time by: lighting. The lighting on this flower is magnificent. Most of your other flowers lack in this. The shadows help create texture on the pedals and foliage--essential to close-up photographs.

really? many people told me a close-up picture of a flower needs to be with no shadows 'cause then u miss the real colors of the flower... but it's nice looking on it as you say...

Well too many shadows will prevent the color from showing through, but what I'm talking about is just a hint of shadow. On bright sunny days, the pedals can get too bright and washed out, but on a partly cloudy/sunny day you'll be able to see little shadows in the ridges and folds of the flowers--that is key. Also, most of the shadows here fall on the foliage--they create depth while satying secondary elements--with a tiny bit on the flower itself to help solidify everything.
